This a single is my current preferred thin case. I really like the texture of this matte black case. Fits the Verizon version of the Galaxy Nexus with extended battery genuinely nicely. No problems with the volume button action by means of the case. The phone in this case feels as slim as the phone with no a case.
When putting on the case, it looked like it wasn't going to fit perfectly, with what appeared to be a gap at the lower left edge. But, immediately after smoothing the case out a bit, it turns out the case does indeed fit highly properly.
FWIW, I've tried three of the circumstances Verizon sells:
1. Otterbox Defender - Protects telephone really properly especially nicely constructed. But, I do not like the optical high quality of the built-in screen protector and it made the phone just thick/lengthy enough with just the perfect quantity of stickiness, that twice the telephone got wedged in my pocket although sitting down, producing it impossible to eliminate the telephone with out initial standing up. I wasn't too crazy about the bulk of the holster attachment. Hoever, if you do not thoughts a bulky case that actually protects the phone, this is the case to obtain.
2. Incipio - This would have been my preferred case in that it had a rigid piece of plastic keeping the silicon snug against the telephone. But, it does add a tiny bulk given the thick silicon/plastic back and I wasn't as pleased with the plastic edges when grasping the telephone.
three. A single of the soft matte black circumstances. This one particular goes on/off the phone certainly effortlessly excellent if you have to swap the battery out a lot. But, it does add a bit of bulk.

I certainly wish they produced a cut out for the volume buttons. Every other button has a cut out. It's too effortless to accidentally trigger those buttons when just holding onto the case. Case fits well otherwise.
