The OtterBox Commuter Series is a great on-the-go accessory for everyday handheld technologies. Safeguarding the screen from scratches and the corners from bumps and shocks, this style of case presents special design with reliable strength.

I went ahead and made a video critique for this case so others could see how it operates.
------Below is my original critique ---------I
have applied Otterbox on my final many devices ranging from the iPhone 3G to iPad and have generally loved the protection Otterbox offers. I was disappointed there was not a case created particularly for the ATT Galaxy S2 but read evaluations where this one would fit. I bit the bullet and bought it hoping it would fit and supply me the protection I need to have on my phone.
I am pleased to say the case fits perfectly! It gives a nice difficult shell about the side and back, it delivers protection over the usb port and headphone jack and also covers the buttons on the side (volume and power). It puts a slight edge above the screen so if you put the telephone face down the screen will not come in contact with the table. There was a comment that the top noise cancelling mic was covered with this case, the unit I received might have been a modified unit for the reason that there is essentially a hole in the case for the mic on each top and bottom. The only sign this case wasn't made particularly for this model phone is the lanyard hole on the left above the volume, all other ports, plugs, switches are protected and/or accessible.
One other sign this case wasn't made for this telephone is it comes with a screen protector that IS for the international version with the a single button on the front, you can tell for the reason that of the large hole on the bottom of the screen protector that does not match with the ATT layout of buttons. I currently had a screen protector so I didn't use it.
Overall really pleased with this case. It offers that added bit of protection I wanted and reinforces the frame of the phone which was very thin. If you drop this there is adequate protection exactly where you will not break the phone. I would invest in this once again. There is a bit of bulk added to the phone, but it really is quality protection so for me it is totally worth it.
Just got this case today. It fits the ATT version of the Galaxy S II just fine. As noted in a different review there is an opening on the top-left, more than the volume buttons, that does not have a matching opening on the telephone itself and a little hole at the best of the phone is not open by way of the case. I am not positive what the purpose of this secondary hole on the telephone is, but getting it covered does not seem to interfere with call top quality.
The buttons on the case line up flawlessly with those on the telephone, although the operation of the buttons does have to have a firm push with the case on the phone. This is expected, by me, as the case adds a layer over the buttons.
The default screen protector is bunk.
Very first and this is not a flaw so I didn't rate it down for it, the screen protector is produced for the International version of the phone. There is a hole in the bottom created for the hardware button these phones have. Although I wish the ATT phone had a physical button, it doesn't. Don't strategy on utilizing this screen protector if you are ordering for an ATT version of the telephone.
Second the screen protector is cheaply created. This is just like the ones you would expect when you pay $1 or much less for 1. I recommend obtaining a higher high quality 1, even if you have an International version of the telephone.
Third the way the screen protector is packaged inside the case it is especially quick to bend and crease in the course of unpacking.
As I did not obtain this case for a screen protector, I do not mind that it is bunk.
The case itself is rather good and properly built. The silicone "glove" fits particularly nicely and is not as "sticky" as a large number of that I have paid much less dollars to invest in. The difficult case adds a good layer of protection outside the silicone "glove." I do wonder why the corners are left outside the protection of the difficult case but this is not a Defender series case. If Otterbox tends to make a Defender for the ATT version of this telephone I will absolutely upgrade!
Overall I suggest this case, with a caveat that you should certainly order a screen protector from another supply.
Shipping was fast and the packaging was properly protected.
UPDATE
I added some photographs of the case on the ATT Galaxy S II (SGH-I777).
