The APTMM2 flat tilt mount attributes a slim 1.4-Inch profile from the wall to the back of your display. Also it has -15 degrees of tilt. The APTMM2 mount is constructed with 8LBS of 100% High Grade Steel providing a sturdy and trustworthy mount. The APTMM2's solid wall plate permits for fast and quick installation and will help a wide wide variety of stud applications up to 28-Inch apart. The APTMM2 mount will fit the majority of LCD and Plasma Displays up to 65-Inch. Most LCD and Plasma displays 65-Inch and smaller conforms to the VESA Standards and this mount will support most odd sized hole patterns that do not conform to the VESA Standards. I was skeptical of this mount. Why should really this be so affordable compared to other mounting kits? I ordered a single (due to the value), and ready to return it if I did not believe the mount could deal with the weight of the 52" LCD Television (Samsung).
Once I got it, I understood the expense. Decent low-cost design and built with solid heavy duty steel.
- Two horizontal bars are load-bearing, and for suitable VESA spacing, they have to be parallel and relative distance should be in the appropriate tolerances. These are made of solid steel.
- Two vertical bars (in the wall mount) are flimsey, and that is ok. it must be solid adequate make a rectangle box w/ square angles. That's it.
- Two vertical mounting (to the Tv) brackets are of heavy duty metal. Producing this in to two parts (not a single), reduction of material, but also enables free of charge horizontal adjustment on the Television mount.
- By doing the above, the kit is smaller, uses much less metal (and lower shipping and material waste).

3. Effortless install. Took 15 min to figure out the instruction (which is not entirely clear), and 10~15 min to install and ready to watch.
4. built-in level worked nicely in the course of marking of mouting holes on the wall --I tested w/ my own, and was consistent.
five. When the mounted on the wall, and bracket on Television, you could adjust horizontal Tv placement on the mount, just by sliding couple of inches left or appropriate, post install. I anticipate this to be safe and correct if the wall mount is directly screwed into the wall studs. I do not anticipate dry-wall install without the use of the studs to handle such adjustment.
6. The brackets on Television could also be utilized to adjust vertical Television placement by a few inches up and down. But for this one, you will need to have to lift Tv off the bracket and adjust and pull back :-).
7. There is a reasonable space (I would say, just perfect) from the wall to the Television to get cables/connectors via With out employing any high priced 90 degree connectors. A lot of space amongst two horizontal bars to put added power outlet and data HDMI cable outlet to hide all the cables.
eight. This supports tilt up/down, and works nicely. Amazon item description does not make it clear.

1. Just one particular. Clearer instruction so that I do not need to spend 15 min figuring things out. One particular could discover a lot form IKEA :-).
two. Packing/Packaging -- Not necessarily Cheetah Mount concern -- mine came w/o missing parts, while I noticed torn cardboard box edges and some parts COULD have been lost for the duration of shipping. Either double box, or have Cheetah use heavier box stock.

1. DO NOT forget to tighten the screws (two) on the bottom horizontal bars Just after Tv is placed on the wall mount -- specially if you are in CA w/ quake. This is what prevents Television falling off the mount accidentally. But do not over-tighten (you are NOT securing from left-to-suitable motion).
2. Very happy w/ my acquire. Will get one even more for my other Television.

All I have to say is what a deal. I've often read consumer reviews for anything I've purchased, but never felt compelled to write a review till now. This product is so low-priced for what you get. Any complaints about the item itself lead me to question their expectations. I've learned a lot about consumer critiques by this item. Individuals are whiners. This mount took me less than 1/2 hr to put up and it is rock solid. I saved $150 more than a comparable mount at Most effective Buy! I'm pumped!
