Customer Critiques

Length:: :33 Mins
Taken throughout a good sunny day (but not the type of harsh incredibly bright sunlight) about three pm. As you can see, colors are on the high saturation side with decent dynamic range on contrast. This camera is okay for the value and IMO gives decent worth for entry level complete HD camcorder. It can fit in your cargo pants pocket or hoodie pocket for convenience.
CONS: Just before you invest in this camera make positive your video editing system either works with or can concert 1080p in AVI format. I use Pinnacle Studio HD 14 and it functions nicely with this camcorders files but only if I video in 720p. It can not work with the 1080p files and I have to use another programs to either render to 720p or convert to 1080p mp4.
Do not get this if you plan to use the nonetheless photographs. They are highly average top quality (if not below) and desires optimal lighting conditions for acceptable still images. Compared to photos taken by this camcorder, I favor images taken with my 10 year 1.two megapixel Fuji than the images this a single takes. But hey it really is an wonderful value for a camcorder and it really is just an typical point and shoot if employed as a camera. You'll get better photographs by grabbing screen frames from the full HD.

this is a complete hd camcorder with a 5x optical zoom for $180 so be too important on it would not be fair! it is improved than the regular def jvc everio i just got rid of. it robust point that it take 10 megapixel still images that appear pretty very good, if you can hold the camera entirely nevertheless! if not they get blurry easily. and 1 thing i do not fully grasp is that if i take hd video and place it on my computer it looks certainly beneficial, but if i hook the camcorder to my 42" hdtv to veiw it looks definitely hideous i mean really grainy and pixelated for some reason? i have not tried to convert and burn on a dvd but to see how they will appear, but that will be my next project. the computer software that comes with it is ok at greatest! but hey it is cost-free and is usable! so my verdict is! for youtubing this would be an terrific option. for a videophile or somebody who make their own blu ray disc's appear else where since this camcorder will in all probability dissapoint you? and like i stated the photo's and video's look truly horrible on an hdtv by means of the hdmi port. :o)
